How photo safeguarding works

Two quiet safeguards sit behind every Snova event: every photo is screened before it can appear, and you stay in control of what remains visible. Enhanced moderation, PIN and venue controls are available from Celebration.

From shutter to gallery

  1. Step 1

    A guest takes a photo

The photo is captured in your event, with your looks and frames applied. It is not public at this point, and it never appears on a public feed.

  2. Step 2

    Snova screens it

Each photo and video is checked automatically before it can be shown anywhere. If the check cannot complete, the photo stays hidden — nothing slips through by accident.

  3. Step 3

    You decide what stays

Anything pending, flagged or rejected is withheld from the gallery and the big screen. You can approve, hide or delete any photo at any time.

  4. Step 4

    Only approved photos appear

Your gallery and any live presentation show approved photos only, to people with access to your event.

What you control as the organiser

Approve or remove

Review anything flagged, and take down any photo yourself in one tap.

Optional PIN

Add a PIN so only guests who have it can join your event. Enhanced moderation, PIN and venue controls are included from Celebration.

Venue-only capture

Limit photo taking to your venue with an active zone. Enhanced moderation, PIN and venue controls are included from Celebration.

Time-limited QR

Your invitation QR only works for your event's photo window.

Private galleries

Galleries are private by default — never indexed, never public.

Your copy, your export

Download everything as a ZIP, or copy it to your own storage.

What guests can expect

  • No account needed — just your name to join.
  • You can delete a photo you took yourself.
  • Your photos are only shared inside that one event.
  • Nothing is posted anywhere else without the organiser's action.

The detail

Screening is designed to fail closed: if a photo cannot be checked, it is held back rather than shown. Automatic screening is a safety net, not a judgement of your guests — the final say is always yours.
