Guest Photo & Video Privacy Notice

Effective date: 2 October 2026

SNOVA is a brand of Paahun Global Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 16884211, with registered office at Office 385, Unit 5, 399-405 Oxford Street, Mayfair, London, United Kingdom, W1C 2BU. Privacy enquiries: privacy@snova.uk. Support: hello@snova.uk.

Before you capture or upload

Photos and videos you add may be visible to the event organiser and, depending on the event settings, other invited guests. Please only add content you are entitled to share and respect people who do not want to be photographed.

If a child is shown, do not upload or publish the image unless you reasonably believe the event organiser's photography arrangements and any required parent/guardian permissions allow it.

By continuing, you acknowledge the SNOVA Privacy Notice and Guest Terms. If you are under 13, use SNOVA only with a parent/guardian.

Your camera roll stays yours

When you allow camera access, it is used only for the in-browser event camera. SNOVA never reads, scans or uploads your camera roll or photo library, and the organiser has no access to it either. The only photos or videos we ever receive are the ones you take in the event camera or deliberately choose to upload.

If you add your email

Email is optional at check-in. If you add it, SNOVA uses it only to email you once when the event's photos are ready and to link your photos to your SNOVA account if you sign up with the same, confirmed email. It is not used for marketing or shown to other guests. To have it removed, email hello@snova.uk.

Who owns your photos

You keep the copyright in every photo and video you take or upload. Sharing at an event does not transfer ownership to the organiser or to SNOVA.

By checking in you give permission for your content to be shown as part of that event: in the event gallery, on the event's big screen or slideshow, and — where the organiser holds the necessary rights and chooses to do so — in posts published to the organiser's own social accounts. You also confirm you are entitled to share what you upload.

SNOVA receives only the limited licence needed to host, process and display your content for that event, on the same terms as section 5 of our Terms of Service. We do not use your content in our own advertising or marketing without separate permission. You can ask for a photo to be removed at any time using the event's removal control or by contacting the organiser or privacy@snova.uk.

Expanded guest notice

  • Who receives it: the event organiser, SNOVA as service provider, and other event viewers if the organiser enables guest viewing.
  • Why: to collect and display event memories and provide organiser-selected features.
  • Ownership: contributors keep rights they already own; SNOVA receives only the service licence needed to operate the gallery.
  • Removal: use the event's report/removal control or contact the organiser/SNOVA.
  • Social media: a private event gallery does not automatically mean a photo will be posted publicly. Public social posting should occur only when the organiser has the necessary rights and chooses/authorises it.
  • AI-written posts: where the organiser uses Social Studio, a photo they have approved may be used in a post whose wording is drafted with AI help and published to the organiser's own Facebook or Instagram account. The organiser decides which photos are used and approves the post. To ask for a photo not to be used, or to have a published post taken down, use the event's removal control or contact the organiser.

Guest acknowledgement

“I'm happy to share the photos I take here. I keep the rights to them and give the organiser and SNOVA permission to show them for this event. I've read the Guest Privacy Notice and Acceptable Use Policy.”

For frictionless camera use, this acknowledgement is presented once per device and event rather than before every photo.
