Organisers and Guests

Terms of Service

Effective date: 2 October 2026

SNOVA is a brand of Paahun Global Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 16884211, with registered office at Office 385, Unit 5, 399-405 Oxford Street, Mayfair, London, United Kingdom, W1C 2BU. Privacy enquiries: privacy@snova.uk. Support: hello@snova.uk.

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms govern use of SNOVA's website, organiser dashboard, event pages, QR camera, galleries, paid plans and optional social-publishing features. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, scanning an event QR code or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 or over to create an organiser account, buy a plan or connect a social-media account.
  • Guests aged 13-17 may use guest features where permitted by the organiser and appropriate to their age.
  • A child under 13 must use guest functionality only with parent/guardian supervision or authorisation where required.
  • If you act for a company, venue or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

3. Organiser responsibilities

  • Provide accurate account and event information.
  • Keep login credentials, devices and any social-channel permissions secure.
  • Inform attendees that photography/video collection is taking place where appropriate.
  • Ensure a lawful basis and any required permissions for collecting, displaying, downloading, sharing or publishing Event Content, especially where children are depicted.
  • Configure privacy controls appropriate to the event and audience.
  • Respond to guest concerns and removal requests relating to an event where the organiser is the relevant controller.

4. Guest responsibilities

Guests must only capture/upload content they are entitled to contribute and must respect the privacy, dignity and rights of others. A guest must not use SNOVA to harass, exploit, embarrass or unlawfully identify another person.

5. Event Content and intellectual property

You retain any intellectual property rights you have in content you contribute. By contributing Event Content, you grant SNOVA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for the period reasonably necessary to host, reproduce, transform solely for technical delivery, display and transmit that content to provide the Service and carry out the organiser's settings/instructions.

You also authorise the event organiser and permitted event viewers to access content in accordance with the event settings. SNOVA does not obtain a right to use private Event Content in unrelated advertising or marketing without separate permission.

Guests who contribute without holding a SNOVA account accept this same content licence through the check-in agreement shown before they use the event camera, and through the Guest Privacy Notice section "Who owns your photos". Guests keep the copyright in their own photos and videos.

6. Prohibited content and conduct

  • Illegal, defamatory, threatening, abusive or harassing content.
  • Sexual or exploitative imagery involving minors or any child sexual abuse material.
  • Content that violates privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trade mark, publicity or other rights.
  • Malware, scraping, automated abuse, unauthorised access or interference with the Service.
  • Impersonation, fraud, deceptive activity or use of the Service to facilitate crime.
  • Uploading sensitive/confidential information where the uploader lacks authority.

7. Moderation and removal

SNOVA may remove, restrict, quarantine or disable access to content or accounts where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to rights/safety concerns, enforce these Terms or protect the Service. We are not obliged to pre-screen all content.

8. Social-media publishing

Social Studio prepares post ideas, designed assets, captions and hashtags from selected Event Content and from material the organiser supplies. The organiser may share the finished pack manually, or connect their own Facebook Page or Instagram business account and have SNOVA publish approved posts to it. The organiser remains responsible for rights clearance, accuracy and legality of every post, including posts published automatically. The relevant platform's terms also apply.

Connected publishing uses the platform's official authorisation flow and only the permissions the feature needs. SNOVA transmits only organiser-approved content, never asks for a social password, and stops publishing if the platform withdraws the required permissions. Automatic publishing is available on the top event plan and on a My Social Studio subscription; it publishes only posts that pass the quality score, only after the organiser has approved the first post of that run, and it respects quiet hours and a daily limit. It pauses automatically if a post fails. Full detail is in our Social Media Publishing Terms.

For content depicting children, the organiser must not approve publication unless they have confirmed an appropriate lawful basis and any required parent or guardian permissions, and automatic publishing should not be used for events where children are the main subject. SNOVA may add confirmation steps or block publishing in higher-risk cases.

9. AI-assisted suggestions

AI selects and analyses images, drafts captions and hashtags, and scores each draft. AI output may be inaccurate, out of date, inappropriate or incomplete, and may misread what is happening in a photograph. The confidence score is a guide to the quality of the writing, not a guarantee of accuracy, suitability, rights clearance or compliance, and it does not replace the organiser's own review.

Suggestions are not marketing, legal or professional advice. SNOVA does not guarantee reach, engagement, follower growth, platform acceptance or commercial results.

10. Plans, payment and consumer rights

Prices, limits, storage periods and included features are shown at purchase. Taxes will be applied as required. If you are a UK consumer, mandatory rights under consumer law are not excluded. Where a statutory cancellation right applies to digital services supplied immediately, we will obtain any acknowledgement/consent required by law before early performance affects that right.

11. My Social Studio subscription

My Social Studio is an optional monthly subscription, separate from event plans. New organisers may start a free 30-day trial once. The trial does not require a card and does not convert to a paid subscription on its own — nothing is charged unless the organiser subscribes.

  • The monthly price and any taxes are shown at checkout before payment, and the subscription renews monthly until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time; the subscription then runs to the end of the period already paid for.
  • Statutory cancellation and refund rights for UK consumers are unaffected.
  • When a trial or subscription ends, creating, scheduling and automatic publishing stop.
  • Everything already created is kept: drafts, approved posts, published posts, performance figures and connected-account settings remain available, and nothing is deleted because a subscription lapsed.

Event-level Social Studio access is included in the relevant event plan and is not affected by this subscription.

  • Subscriptions bought through Apple in the Snova iPhone app are auto-renewing: payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically each month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you are on.
  • You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting your Snova account does not cancel an Apple subscription; please cancel it there.
  • Refunds for purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple under its own terms.

12. Refunds and cancellations

The applicable plan page/refund policy should state when refunds are available. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Organisation and Business packages are agreed separately according to the stated requirements.

13. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may maintain, modify or discontinue features, impose proportionate limits, or suspend access where reasonably necessary. Material changes affecting paid users should receive reasonable notice where practicable.

14. Third-party services

SNOVA may integrate with cloud storage, payment processors, AI providers and social-media platforms. Those services are controlled by third parties and may change, suspend or reject integrations. Their terms and privacy notices may also apply.

15. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to those matters, any liability cap and exclusion of indirect losses must be set in a way appropriate to whether the customer is a consumer or a business and should be finalised by UK counsel before launch.

16. Indemnity for business users

To the extent lawful, a business organiser should indemnify SNOVA for third-party claims arising from the organiser's unlawful Event Content, lack of required permissions, or unauthorised social publication. This clause should not be applied to consumers in a way that would be unfair under UK consumer law.

17. Termination

You may stop using SNOVA at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breach, unlawful use, non-payment, security threats or where required by law. We will handle retained data in accordance with our Privacy Notice and retention schedule.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. UK consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable consumer law. Business disputes should be subject to the courts of England and Wales unless otherwise agreed in writing.
